Are you a highly skilled, experienced maintenance professional? #TeamUHD are looking for a maintenance craftsman (Electrical) to join the Estates department on the Royal Bournemouth Hospital site.
Estates provides a comprehensive maintenance, repair and installation service of the buildings, grounds, engineering services and associated equipment throughout the Trust.
You’ll have completed a recognised electrical or building services apprenticeship and gained a wide experience in building engineering services and plant maintenance. This could be BTEC HNC level or City and Guilds plus relevant post apprenticeship training or equivalent experience.
We’re looking for someone with a current UK (manual) driving licence and resides within half an hour normal travel time to fulfil on-call duties.
You'll be working on a shift pattern with participation in an emergency on-call rota with opportunities for overtime.
Salary: £32,073 – £39,043 per annum (Band 5) plus local RRP (£3,500 pa) and an approximate £1,000 on-call retainer. As this is a shift-working position, enhancements are payable in line with Agenda for Change, which is estimated to add around £5,000–£6,000 per annum to total earnings.
