GENERAL MAINTENANCE, GARDENER & STORES SUPPORT ASSISTANT
JPL Telecom Ltd is a local telecommunications and property rental company based in Todber. We are looking for a reliable and practical all-rounder who enjoys a varied role and takes pride in their work. About the Role: This is a hands-on position involving a mixture of property maintenance, gardening, and occasional support within our local telecoms stores.
Key Responsibilities:
General property maintenance, including: Basic woodwork repairs, Painting and decorating, General repairs and maintenance tasks, Gardening duties (approximately 2 days per week), including: Strimming, Weeding borders, General grounds maintenance, Providing cover and support in our stores during staff holidays and sickness absence. Assisting with the handling and supply of telecommunications products as required.
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience in general property maintenance, Enjoy gardening and outdoor work, Be practical, self-motivated, and willing to undertake a variety of tasks, Be flexible and happy to support different areas of the business when needed, Hold a full driving licence and have access to their own transport (preferred).
Hours:
Flexible working hours are available, although the role would ideally suit someone able to work 4–5 days per week, typically 8:30am – 5:00pm.
Pay:
£14.50 – £18.00 per hour, depending on experience.
