A Different Kind of Pharmacist Role
Clinic Supplies is a growing healthcare business supplying medicines and medical products to private clinics and healthcare professionals across the UK.
We are looking for a GPhC-registered Pharmacist who wants to use their clinical knowledge in a varied and developing role outside of a traditional high-volume community pharmacy environment.
You will work closely with private clinics, prescribers and our internal team, helping ensure medicines are supplied safely, appropriately and efficiently.
This is an opportunity to join the business at an exciting stage of its growth and help shape how our pharmacy and clinical services develop.
What You'll Be Doing
Your role will include:
- Reviewing and clinically checking private prescriptions.
- Reviewing medicine orders received from clinics and healthcare professionals.
- Communicating directly with doctors, nurses, independent prescribers and clinics where clarification is required.
- Providing professional pharmaceutical advice to customers and colleagues.
- Ensuring medicines are supplied safely and in accordance with relevant legislation and professional standards.
- Supporting the onboarding and ongoing review of new clinic customers.
- Reviewing CQC registrations and healthcare professional credentials where appropriate.
- Supporting the supply of specialist, unlicensed and clinic-use medicines.
- Helping manage medication queries, recalls, product complaints and clinical concerns.
- Supporting the development and improvement of pharmacy procedures and SOPs.
- Working with our operations and customer service teams to improve the experience for our clinic customers.
- Contributing ideas as we continue to develop and expand the business.
Why Join Clinic Supplies?
We want this to be a role where you can genuinely use your professional knowledge rather than simply processing prescriptions all day.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Work in a private healthcare and clinic-focused environment.
- Develop experience in an expanding area of pharmacy.
- Build relationships with clinics and healthcare professionals across the UK.
- Work with a varied range of medicines and specialist products.
- Have greater involvement in clinical governance and how the business operates.
- Help develop new services and processes.
- Work closely with the company's senior management and pharmacists.
- Join a growing business where good ideas can quickly become part of how we work.
- Develop your knowledge of private prescriptions, clinic medicines, specials and medicines governance.
For the right person, there will also be opportunities for the role and level of responsibility to grow as Clinic Supplies expands.
Who We're Looking For
You must be:
- A pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Confident making professional and clinical decisions.
- Comfortable communicating with prescribers and other healthcare professionals.
- Organised and able to work accurately.
- Interested in learning about private healthcare and clinic medicines.
- Someone who takes patient safety and professional standards seriously.
- Proactive and willing to suggest better ways of doing things.
Experience in private pharmacy, online pharmacy, clinics, specials or medicines governance would be useful, but is not essential.
If you are an experienced community or hospital pharmacist looking for something different, we would also be very interested in hearing from you.
The Opportunity
Clinic Supplies is developing rapidly, and this role offers considerably more scope than simply working from a fixed dispensing process.
We are looking for someone who wants to become an important part of the business, build relationships with our clinic customers and help us develop a high-quality pharmacy service as the company grows.
If you're a pharmacist looking for a fresh challenge and want to work in a growing, forward-thinking healthcare business, we'd love to hear from you.
