We're a hybrid business, which means you'll have flexibility alongside time together with your team. In this role, you can expect minimum 2 days per week in our Leicester or London office, with ad-hoc travel to our Stores when needed.

As a Project Manager within Store Technology, you'll lead the delivery of technology projects that help our stores operate more effectively and provide great experiences for customers and colleagues alike. Working closely with Product Delivery, Engineering, Architecture, Operations, Store teams and external partners, you'll ensure projects are delivered successfully, adopted effectively, and create real business value. You'll also provide leadership and line management to your team, helping individuals develop and perform at their best.
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of store technology projects, from planning and implementation through to business adoption and handover.
- Create and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies and delivery roadmaps to ensure successful outcomes.
- Manage risks, issues, budgets, scope and delivery timelines, ensuring stakeholders have clear visibility of progress.
- Act as the central point of coordination between Technology teams, Store Operations, business stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Build strong relationships with third-party partners, ensuring delivery commitments, quality standards and performance expectations are achieved.
- Establish effective project governance, reporting and communication that supports informed decision making.
- Work closely with Engineering, Product Delivery, Architecture and Operations teams to ensure solutions are secure, resilient, scalable and ready for implementation.
- Lead and develop a team of colleagues through coaching, performance management, capability development and clear leadership.
- Foster a collaborative culture that encourages ownership, accountability, continuous improvement and successful delivery.
- Ensure technology investments deliver measurable benefits for customers, colleagues and the wider business.
Essential
- Experience delivering technology or digital projects in a complex business environment.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, governance, risk management and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams across Technology and business functions.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and drive action.
- Demonstrable people leadership and line management experience, ideally within a technical environment.
- Experience within retail, store technology or operational technology environments is essential.
- Experience delivering third-party integrations or working with external technology suppliers.
Desirable
- Exposure to infrastructure, telephony, CCTV or store technology solutions is desirable.
- Experience managing budgets, suppliers and delivery performance.
- Knowledge of Agile, Product and Technology delivery practices.
