The Role:
We’re looking for an organised and proactive Product Manager to join our Product Commercialisation team on a maternity cover basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key role supporting the delivery of new product launches—from initial concept through to first delivery. You’ll work at the centre of cross-functional teams, ensuring projects stay on track, on time, and aligned to business goals.
A full handover and ongoing support will be provided to help you succeed in the role.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of new and existing product projects (NPD & EPD)
- Create and maintain project plans and critical paths
- Lead project kick-offs, track risks, and ensure timelines are met
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including:
- Innovation & Development
- Process Engineering
- Manufacturing
- Quality
- Supply Chain & Sales
- Lead stage-gate reviews to drive project progress
- Monitor project status and provide clear updates on progress, risks, and actions
- Liaise with customers regarding delivery and timelines
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and commercially viable
What we’re looking for
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Confident communication across a range of stakeholders
- Good working knowledge of tools such as Excel, Word, or project systems
- A collaborative approach with a focus on delivery and continuous improvement
- Ability to keep teams aligned and accountable to timelines
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience in product management, project management, or operations
- Background in FMCG, manufacturing, or a related field
- Degree or qualification in business, science, or similar
Pay: Up to £31,190.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Trowbridge BA14 0XB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
