Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems and communicate effectively with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations to uphold hygiene standards
- Handle guest inquiries professionally, providing information about menu options, specials, and dietary considerations
- Manage cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Support food safety protocols by following proper handling procedures during food preparation and service
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Knowledge of serving techniques, food safety regulations, and basic food preparation is highly desirable
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling payments accurately
- Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food handling standards
