About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised Procurement, Compliance and Admin Assistant to support our purchasing, supplier management, quality checks and compliance processes. This is a varied administrative role suited to someone with excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to keep records accurate, up to date and audit-ready.
Key Responsibilities
· Support procurement administration, including purchase orders, supplier records, invoices and delivery documentation.
· Maintain accurate compliance and quality control records, certificates, specifications and supplier documentation.
· Assist with quality control administration, including recording checks, logging non-conformances and supporting traceability documentation.
· Assist with document control, ensuring records are complete, current and easy to access.
· Liaise with suppliers, internal departments and external contacts to resolve queries and obtain required information.
· Support audit preparation by keeping trackers, files and supporting evidence organised.
· Monitor deadlines for renewals, supplier documents, compliance checks, quality records and follow-up actions.
· Update spreadsheets, databases and internal systems with accurate procurement, compliance and quality control information.
· Help identify opportunities to improve processes, accuracy and efficiency across procurement, compliance and quality control administration.
About You
· Previous experience in administration, procurement, compliance, quality control, purchasing, stock control, supplier management or a similar role.
· Excellent attention to detail and confidence working with documents, data and records.
· Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
· Confident communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with suppliers and colleagues.
· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook.
· A proactive, reliable and practical approach to problem solving.
· Experience in food and drink, manufacturing, warehousing, quality assurance or FMCG environments would be helpful but is not essential.
