Estate Handyman / Groundskeeper
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Estate Handyman / Groundskeeper to help maintain a large private property and its grounds.
This is a varied, hands-on role covering general property maintenance, gardening, grounds care and practical repairs. The position is for a minimum of three full days per week, with additional days potentially available.
Main duties
- General maintenance and repairs around the property
- Gardening, mowing, hedge cutting and seasonal grounds care
- Basic plumbing, carpentry and decorating
- Maintenance of fences, gates, paths and outbuildings
- Minor electrical work where suitably qualified
- Maintaining and repairing tools, garden machinery and equipment
- Identifying problems and arranging specialist contractors when required
- Keeping the property, grounds and work areas safe and well presented
The successful candidate will be practical, trustworthy and able to work independently. Previous experience in property maintenance, groundskeeping or a similar role is required.
Pay: Up to £30,000.00 per year
