Role Summary
Scarborough RUFC is seeking an organised, proactive, and community-minded Rugby & Club Administrator to anchor our thriving Age Grade and Senior rugby programme and support wider business growth. Balancing structured administration with hands-on club engagement, you will act as the vital central link between our Board, 150+ volunteers, grounds/catering teams, and the local community.

Key Responsibilities
Rugby Administration: Coordinate the weekly Age Grade and Senior rugby schedule (Shrimps to Colts, including girls' sections, plus 4 senior teams). Manage pitch allocations, schedule club referees, oversee RFU Game Management System (GMS) registrations, and coordinate DBS compliance/safeguarding workflows.
Rugby Event Coordination: Act as the face of the club on Sunday mornings, managing reception, greeting visiting teams, and ensuring smooth logistics. Liaise closely with catering and grounds teams for training and match-day requirements.
Club Admin: Club Membership Management, Event Bookings & Management, contracting & Documentation

Exceptional Communication: A warm, approachable personality capable of building strong relationships with volunteer coaches, staff, parents, and external partners.
Strong Administration Skills: Highly organized with an eye for detail, comfortable managing spreadsheets, documentation, and digital platforms (GMS, HEJA, and social media scheduling).
Resilience & Agility: A calm-under-pressure operator who can handle the dynamic, fast-moving nature of a busy sports club.
Flexibility: Ability to work a varied schedule, including essential weekend hours (specifically Sunday mornings) during the rugby season (September to May).
