The Raven & Roost is an exciting new pop-up venue in the heart of South Street, Bridport. Open exclusively at weekends, we're creating a unique destination that celebrates everything the South West does best—bringing together incredible chefs, DJs, artists, performers, musicians and independent producers under one roof.
No two weekends will be the same. From guest food residencies and live entertainment to themed events and late-night dancing, The Raven & Roost is designed to be one of Bridport's most exciting nightlife experiences.
We're looking for two enthusiastic, energetic and reliable Bar Team Members to join us and help deliver unforgettable nights for our guests.
Hours
Friday: 6:00pm – Midnight
Saturday: 8:00pm – 2:00am
Bank Holiday Sundays: As required

About The Raven Bar
Our bar has a strong focus on premium rum and vermouth, offering one of the area's most exciting selections.
Our guests can expect:
- Over 30 premium rums, with the collection changing regularly.
- A carefully curated selection of vermouths served simply over ice.
- A menu of signature rum cocktails.
- A limited but high-quality range of beers, wines and premium spirits.
This isn't just another pub bar—it's a venue where we love introducing guests to new flavours and creating memorable experiences.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering friendly, professional customer service.
- Preparing and serving drinks efficiently.
- Making our signature rum cocktails.
- Talking confidently to guests about our rum and vermouth selection.
- Keeping the bar clean, organised and fully stocked.
- Handling payments accurately.
- Working closely with the management team to create an energetic atmosphere.
- Helping set up and close down the venue each night.
- Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Following all licensing, food safety and health & safety procedures.
- Supporting your teammates during busy service.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for personality just as much as experience.
Ideally you'll have:
- Previous bar or hospitality experience.
- A positive, can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Confidence working in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine passion for great drinks and hospitality.
- A professional appearance and strong work ethic.
- Reliability and excellent timekeeping.
- A willingness to learn.
Experience with cocktails or mixology is a bonus, but it isn't essential.
