The Manor Hotel Solihull - Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill is a vibrant and dynamic family business situated in the heart of Meriden. The business enterprise includes The National Motorcycle Museum & National Conference Centre and The Windmill Village Hotel, Golf Club & Spa.
As our Meeting & Events Supervisor you will know and understand what it means to deliver amazing hospitality and will thrive on the challenge of always exceeding guest’s expectations. You will be expected to achieve a level of service through the constant monitoring of brand standards. As a result you should be highly attentive to detail and be capable of delivering consistent standards. You should have a warm, personable nature and a can do attitude. In this type of industry teamwork is key; you should be a strong team player willing to lend a hand wherever needed.
You must have experience in a similar environment with the knowledge and confidence to deliver the role described below combined with a passion for delivering exceptional service through your team.
Key responsibilities for the Meeting & Events Supervisor are;
- Be fully conversant with all Meeting & Event rooms, layouts, product availability and all other associated aspects.
- Ensure that M&E rooms not in use are in an appropriate state for show-rounds of potential customers.
- Be present to meet and greet customers checking requirements and passing on relevant information (e.g. fire evacuation procedure, directions etc.).
- Supervise events such as private dinning/weddings/anniversaries etc.
- Ensure superior levels of food and beverage service to hotel guests are maintained.
- Ensure all areas are clean and maintained at all times.
Desired attributes for the Meeting & Events Supervisor include;
- Ability to think on your feet if required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience of hotel environment is an advantage.
