- An excellent understanding and use of the current BUK & GB Food Safety & Quality Management Systems, including how documents are referenced (Document Control) in such a way that it ensures that documentation at all levels is maintained and where changes are done, that they are within the document change procedure. Previous versions of documentation must be correctly archived.
- The management of identified corrective and preventative actions to ensure the root cause is identified and they are fully documented and closed out.
- Ensure that any deviations from specifications are agreed, documented, and reported through the correct channels.
- Ensuring independent process checks are completed in each area according to the schedule and relevant actions taken if out of the limits or specification given.
- Complete and organise the taste panel session on a daily / shift basis.
- Complete daily sampling/monitoring tests in line with quality measures in place throughout the process.
- Ensure that the Organoleptic Schedule including customer requirements are maintained and that any out of specification results are followed up diligently.
- Ensure Shelf-life samples are collected accurately and tested at end of life for mould or organoleptic against the Organoleptic schedule.
- Assistance during customer audits.
- To complete GMP audits including preparation, the audit, reporting the key actions and following up.
- Glass & plastic register verification including follow up.
- To complete CCP audits including preparation, the audit, reporting the key actions and following up.
- To complete Quality System Audits including preparation, the audit, reporting the key actions and following up.
- To complete foreign body/ fabrication audits including preparation, the audit, reporting the key actions and following up.
- Completion of environmental sampling throughout the plant.
- Ensure equipment calibration and verification systems are maintained (internal and external).
- Traceability exercises to complete and presentation of documents.
- A complete understanding of the site HACCP system.
