Carers Hub Service Manager
Age Connects West Midlands, Boldmere (Birmingham & Sandwell travel required)
37.5 hours per week | Monday–Friday (occasional weekends)
£32,000.00 per annum
Fixed Term until 31st March 2028; with possibility of extension

We’re looking for a confident and capable Service Manager to provide strong strategic leadership across our Birmingham Carers Hub, Advice and Guidance and Sandwell Carers Service.
This is a key leadership role for someone who can drive performance, shape service direction, and lead teams with clarity, consistency, and impact.
You will oversee Deputy Managers, hold overall accountability for service outcomes, and ensure high standards across quality, compliance, and customer experience.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the strategic direction and performance of the Carers Hub services
- Manage and develop Deputy Managers and senior staff
- Drive a positive, high-performing team culture and strong staff morale
- Oversee KPIs, outcomes, safeguarding, and service quality
- Take senior responsibility for complex operational and staffing decisions
- Strengthen partnerships across statutory, voluntary, and community sectors
- Ensure full compliance with safeguarding, GDPR, and contractual requirements
- Use data and insight to continuously improve service delivery
