SlumberJack Coffee is a growing food manufacturing company supplying customers across the UK and Ireland. We're looking for an experienced Skilled Machine Operator to join our production team.
This role is ideal for someone with experience operating manufacturing machinery who enjoys problem-solving, maintaining high production standards, and working with technical equipment. Mechanical or engineering experience would be an advantage.
What you'll be doing
- Operating and setting up production and packaging machinery.
- Carrying out machine changeovers and product set-ups.
- Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments to maximise efficiency.
- Identifying and resolving minor mechanical faults.
- Assisting with preventative maintenance and basic engineering tasks when required.
- Completing production paperwork and quality checks.
- Maintaining high food safety, quality and housekeeping standards.
We're looking for someone who has
- Previous experience operating manufacturing or packaging machinery.
- Good mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
- Engineering, maintenance or machine-setting experience would be an advantage.
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of equipment.
- A good understanding of health & safety within a manufacturing environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
