Job Summary
We are looking for an ambitious and confident Telesales Executive to join our growing sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional who enjoys generating new business, building relationships, and helping trade customers find the right products and solutions.
The role focuses on developing new trade accounts across multiple markets and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers within the construction, carpentry, joinery, and interior sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- This role is 100% focused on winning new business and direct selling
- Proactively contact new and lapsed customers by phone and email
- Generate and develop new trade account opportunities
- Closing Deals by converting warm leads
- Target Orientated
- Experience in processing orders
- Promoting Customer Retention and Repeat Business
- Build strong relationships with builders, carpenters, joiners, interior designers, and contractors
- Promotes company products, offers, and services
- Follow up quotations and convert enquiries into sales
- Maintain accurate customer data
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
- Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to maximise account growth
- Turn warm and cold leads into new and repeat business
Requirements
- Previous telesales, internal sales, or trade sales experience required
- Resilience with the ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive tone
- Experience of achieving sales growth targets to exceed targets
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Confident telephone manner with strong negotiation abilities
- Self-motivated and target driven
- Good organisational and computer skills
- Experience within builder’s merchants, construction products, interiors, or manufacturing is advantageous
