Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and stocked appropriately.
- Manage cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems and handle payments responsibly.
- Engage with guests to enhance their experience, providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible serving practices in compliance with legal regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods and support overall restaurant service.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or bar experience is essential; familiarity with serving in fast-paced environments is highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality principles and excellent customer service skills.
- Understanding of food safety standards to ensure safe handling of beverages and related products.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing tabs efficiently.
- Effective time management abilities to prioritize tasks during high-volume shifts.
- Proven ability to work well as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
- Knowledge of alcohol serving regulations and responsible service practices is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided.
