Strategic Leadership & Growth

Develop and implement Cherry Trees' fundraising and partnerships strategy

Set ambitious income targets and lead annual fundraising planning

Identify opportunities to diversify income and strengthen organisational resilience

Advise the CEO and Board on fundraising strategy and external opportunities

Contribute to organisational planning as an active Senior Leadership Team member
Fundraising & Income Generation

Lead a diverse fundraising portfolio including trusts, major donors, corporate partnerships and legacy income

Deliver agreed income targets whilst building sustainable long-term revenue

Maintain personal relationships with major donors and strategic funders
-
Oversee high-quality funding applications and stewardship programmes
-
Foster a culture of philanthropy across the organisation
Partnerships & External Relations

Build strategic relationships with trusts, foundations, corporate partners and stakeholders

Develop partnerships with NHS organisations, local authorities and VCSE partners

Represent Cherry Trees at networking events and conferences

Identify collaborative opportunities that increase impact and sustainability
Communications & Brand

Provide strategic leadership for communications, marketing and public profile

Lead campaigns that increase awareness and supporter engagement

Develop compelling narratives that position Cherry Trees as a sector leader

Ensure strong, consistent online presence and digital communications
Team Leadership

Lead and develop a high-performing fundraising and communications team

Essential Experience

Significant experience in senior fundraising leadership across multiple income streams

Proven success developing strategies that achieve sustainable income growth

Track record of meeting ambitious fundraising targets

Experience leading and developing high-performing teams

Experience building relationships with major donors, trusts and corporate partners

Experience contributing to organisational strategy as part of senior leadership
