Swim Central Preston has an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic, creative, and motivated Swimming Teachers who are passionate about delivering high-quality lessons and supporting progression through our structured swimming programme.
Working in a comfortable and welcoming environment, successful applicants will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons to children and adults of varying ages and abilities. Fixed Working Hours
- Monday: 16:00 - 19:00 (3 Hours)
- Saturday: 10:30 – 15:00 (4.5 Hours)
- Sunday: 11:00 - 14:00 (3 Hours)
There will also be opportunities to increase your hours on both a permanent and flexible basis.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality swim lessons to individuals and groups of all ages and abilities
- Plan and deliver structured lessons tailored to swimmers’ needs
- Provide a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment
- Demonstrate correct swimming techniques and provide constructive feedback
- Monitor pool safety and swimmer wellbeing at all times
- Maintain accurate attendance and progress records
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and water safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods for different learning styles and abilities
- Must be able to pass a background check
Essential (one of the following):
- ASA / Swim England Level 2
- STA Level 2 Award or Certificate
- Level 2 Baby and Pre-School Qualification
