Join Our Team as a Level 3 BSL Support Worker
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and motivated Level 3 BSL Support Worker to join our supported accommodation service. This rewarding role involves supporting individuals to live as independently as possible while promoting choice, dignity, and inclusion.

About the Role
As a Level 3 BSL Support Worker, you will provide high-quality support to Deaf people living in supported accommodation. You will communicate confidently using British Sign Language and help individuals achieve their personal goals while maintaining their independence.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect.
- Communicating effectively using British Sign Language (BSL) Level 3.
- Supporting individuals with daily living activities, including meal preparation, shopping, budgeting, and attending appointments.
- Promoting independence, choice, and community participation.
- Developing positive, trusting relationships with the people you support.
- Maintaining accurate records and following care plans.
- Administering medication where trained and authorised.
- Safeguarding the wellbeing of the people you support and reporting any concerns promptly.
- Working collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and colleagues.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- BSL Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience supporting adults in a care or supported living environment.
- Experience providing personal care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring, patient, and respectful approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays where required.
Desirable:
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
- Experience supporting Deaf people or individuals with additional needs.
- Medication administration training.
- Full UK driving licence.
