We are looking for a part time person (20 hours per week) to join our large, friendly, and supportive nursing team. We are excited to have the opportunity to expand our team and the vacancy arises due to our growing list and extending the skills of our existing team.
Working under supervision of our Practice Nurses and in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols, the post-holder will be responsible for performing a range of procedures and health-checks for patients, dependent upon competency and training.
These may include: phlebotomy, injections, blood pressure monitoring, simple dressings and ECGs. The role will also include administrative elements such as fridge checking, ordering supplies etc. The role is varied, interesting and allows relationships to be built with regular patients.
This role requires an enthusiastic and self-motivated person, with excellent communication and IT skills along with a willingness to learn new skills and a caring attitude.
Experience as an HCA is desirable, but we are also willing to train an inexperienced candidate who shows enthusiasm and potential.
