We are looking for a full-time Assistant Manager to join our friendly team inside Tesco.
This is a hands-on role working in the kitchen, helping to prepare and cook our hot food, label products, support deliveries, and look after our orange juice machines. You will also help lead the team, manage cooking forecasts, maintain high food safety standards, and support daily operations.
The role includes:
- Preparing and cooking hot food in the kitchen
- Managing cooking forecasts to help ensure the right amount of food is prepared
- Labelling products correctly
- Looking after and maintaining the orange juice machines
- Helping with deliveries when required
- Supporting food safety standards and daily checks
- Helping with audits and making sure procedures are followed
- Motivating and supporting a team of both team members and delivery riders
- Supporting the team during busy periods
- Working a variety of shifts, including weekends

Hours:
This is a full-time position of 40+ hours per week. Shifts can start from 6am, and weekend availability is required.
Experience in food preparation, retail, hospitality, food safety, or a supervisor/assistant manager role would be helpful, but full training can be provided for the right person.

Pay: £13.21-£15.00 per hour
