Farm Shop Assistant / Cashier
We are looking for a friendly, hardworking, and enthusiastic individual to join the team at Algar Lodge Farm Shop as a Farm Shop Assistant / Cashier.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a welcoming and supportive team in a busy farm shop environment, where excellent customer service and high retail standards are at the heart of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing outstanding customer service on the till and shop floor
- Replenishing, pricing, and rotating stock to ensure shelves remain fully stocked and attractively displayed
- Carrying out regular date checks and maintaining high quality control standards
- Ensuring the shop is clean, organised, and well presented at all times
- Developing strong product knowledge to confidently assist and advise customers
- Supporting the team with the smooth day-to-day running of the farm shop
What We’re Looking For
- Previous retail and customer service experience is essential!
- A positive, reliable, and approachable attitude
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to work
- Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends
Position Details
- Full-time, permanent position
- 5 days per week
- Weekend availability required
