About the Kuttabul Health Centre
Located on HMAS Kuttabul in Potts Point where the area itself has been a naval base since 1856. It is home to Fleet Support Unit South-East (FSU-SE) which conducts maintenance on ships and submarines. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, outpatients, nursing, dental, mental health, pharmaceutical and physiotherapy services. This mid-size base has up to 4,500 members and provides services for overseas visiting personnel. Standard operating hours are generally 0730-1530 Monday-Friday.
What you’ll do

Work Monday and Tuesday deliver high quality primary healthcare, including health assessments and vaccinations or monitor and manage patients in a low dependency ward setting

Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including general practitioners, physios, mental health clinicians, and dental professionals

Support Defence members through injury recovery, chronic condition management, and preventative care
What you bring

Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

Minimum one year Registered Nurse experience in acute care, primary health care or military setting

Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)

Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)

Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient centred care

Ability to work a 24/7 roster

This role is primarily Monday to Friday (day shift) within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
