About the Role
We're looking for a reliable, hardworking and proactive Operations & Stock Assistant to join our growing convenience store team.
This is not a customer service or till-based role. Instead, you'll be responsible for ensuring the shop remains fully stocked, organised and ready for customers.
You'll play a vital role behind the scenes by collecting stock, replenishing shelves, organising the stockroom and helping maintain high store standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Driving the company van to complete daily Cash & Carry runs.
- Loading and unloading stock.
- Putting stock away correctly.
- Deep replenishment of the entire shop.
- Rotating stock and checking dates.
- Keeping the stockroom tidy and organised.
- Receiving supplier deliveries.
- Updating stock lists.
- Printing and replacing shelf-edge labels.
- Building promotional displays.
- Reporting stock shortages and damaged products.
- Supporting the shop team when required.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Aged 18 or over.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting stock.
- Well organised and able to work independently.
- Good attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet.
Ideal Experience
Previous experience in any of the following would be an advantage:
- Supermarket replenishment
- Warehouse work
- Retail stock control
- Convenience stores
- Cash & Carry
- Delivery driving
- Merchandising
