Overview
We are looking for an experienced electrician to join our growing team in Horsham. The successful new team member will be responsible for undertaking electrical installation, repairs and maintenance work around renewable installations such as Solar PV, Battery Storage, Heat Pumps, (ASHP, GSHP, WSHP) and Biomass systems . You will be familiar with 230V and 400V installations and have good knowledge of current wiring regulations. You will provide high quality, ‘right first time’, cost effective building services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake high quality electrical installation, repairs and maintenance work in accordance with regulations and legislation
- Undertake fault-finding and diagnostic work as required to repair and maintain electrical installation
- Ensure that all relevant documentation is processed and systems are completed in a timely manner
- Integrated control wiring and installing new mains supplies for renewable solutions including heat pumps, biomass and PV
Key Qualifications:
- 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- City & Guilds 2361 Part 1 & 2 or 2394/5
- 18th Edition (IEE Wiring Regulations)
- NICEIC beneficial
- CSCS card
- Full clean driving licence
- Test and Inspect
- Experience with Heat Pumps and PV preferred but not necessary.
Key Skills:
- Experienced in reactive and planned works
- Undertaken remedial of installation works, completing minor works and other certificates
- Team player with a professional client manner
- Good communication skills, reasonable written and numerical skills
- Show a willingness to be helpful, enthusiastic and flexible
- Self-motivated and self-organised
- Willing to attend training courses and work outside normal working hours as and when required to meet the needs of the clients
- Some UK travel and overnight stays may be required
Salary:
- £48,000+ depending on experience and qualifications.
