Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Greet guests warmly, take drink orders accurately, and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage cash transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling payments accurately
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety at all times
- Restock bar supplies as needed, including glassware, garnishes, and beverages to keep the bar fully equipped
- Collaborate with team members to create a lively atmosphere and ensure smooth service during busy hours
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; a passion for serving others is essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude that makes guests feel welcome
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or cleaning
- A <PERSON> (personal reference) or similar character reference is a plus to demonstrate reliability and professionalism
