Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Retail Sales Assistant to join our vibrant team! Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and offer expert advice on gardening, plants, and horticultural products
- Assist customers in locating merchandise and provide detailed product information
- Maintain attractive product displays through effective merchandising techniques
- Manage stock levels, organize inventory, and ensure shelves are well-stocked and tidy
- Communicate product features and benefits clearly in multiple languages such as English and Spanish when needed
- Support store operations by processing transactions accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a welcoming, organized, and engaging shopping environment
Requirements
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Gujarati, Hindi or other languages is a plus
- Passion for gardening and DIY with basic knowledge of plant care and other building jobs.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage stock, displays, and customer requests effectively
- Multilingual abilities to assist a diverse customer base confidently
- Previous retail experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
- A friendly, proactive attitude with strong teamwork skills
