Duties of the General Labourer will include:
- Site Preparation: Cleaning and preparing construction sites, and building and taking down scaffolding and temporary structures
- Assistance: Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties
- Material Handling: Loading and unloading materials and equipment, transporting materials around the site, and replenishing stock
- Communication: Following instructions from supervisors, and reporting to the site supervisor or foreman. Reporting issues or concerns to the site manager in a timely manner
- Minor repairs and maintenance: Flagging, fencing, and guttering
- Operating tools: Using basic hand and power tools, such as a pressure washer, gas and electric leaf blower, tape measure, and chalk line
- The ideal candidate will have a good attitude and strong work ethic.
Full time self-employed role.
Experience: 2 years(required)
Vacation: 20 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays
