Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience through attentive service, effective communication, and a thorough understanding of our menu offerings. Must be 18+
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and promotions
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests
- Adhere to food safety standards and proper handling procedures during food preparation
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order fulfilment
- Handle payments accurately using basic math skills
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Familiarity with food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently
- Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on guest services
- A background in serving or kitchen roles would be beneficial
