Position Overview:
As a Host/Hostess, you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. You will greet guests with a smile, assist in seating them, manage reservations, and ensure the restaurant runs smoothly during service hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they enter the restaurant
- Manage the reservation system and ensure seating is efficient
- Escort guests to their table
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and address guest inquiries
- Maintain a clean, organised front-of-house area
- Assist with managing guest flow during busy times
- Support the waitstaff and other team members to ensure excellent customer service
- Handle guest complaints professionally and promptly
- Follow all restaurant safety and sanitation procedures
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is a necessity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Flexibility with hours, including weekends and holidays
