Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Labourer to join our team on a line marking site. This role involves working outdoors to assist with the application of line markings, ensuring safety and visibility standards are met. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in construction, maintenance, and management within a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the team in various tasks related to site preparation, maintenance, and operational assistance.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and setup of line marking equipment and materials on-site.
- Support the application of line markings according to project specifications and safety standards.
- Carry out general maintenance of equipment and tools used during line marking activities.
- Drive company vehicles or lorries as required to transport materials or equipment between sites.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring safety protocols are adhered to at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks efficiently.
- Support management in overseeing site operations and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Assist with site management duties, including inventory checks and reporting any issues or hazards.
Skills
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and management.
- Basic management skills to support operational activities and site organisation.
- Maintenance skills for equipment upkeep and troubleshooting minor issues.
- Driving ability, including valid licences for operating company vehicles or lorries on-site or between locations.
- Physical fitness to undertake manual labour tasks, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Organised approach to work with attention to detail in following safety procedures and project specifications.
