We are looking for a technically minded, motivated and enthusiastic individual who can demonstrate a high standard of workmanship with minimum supervision to join the team as a stairlift installation engineer to install, service and repair a variety of stairlifts and similar equipment in the Cumbria region.
This role is designed for an individual looking for a new challenge and possess installation experience within the stairlift industry OR someone from an alternate electrical mechanical industry with transferable skills to cover an increase in workload and local contractual obligations. Experience working in customer's home and dealing face to face with an end user would also be an advantage
The role coincides with the opening of our Carlisle mobility showroom and hub. There will be additional responsibilities with regards to managing the workshop and surveying support for the sales team within the region.
Where as specific experience in the industry would be an advantage, training will also be provided internally and at manufacturer level for those joining from outside the industry for the right individual
In an effort to meet our environmental aims and objectives the applicant must be based in Carlisle or surrounding area to minimise travel and fuel usage. A full driving licence is required.
The role will involve weekday and weekend callout provision. Overtime rate to apply.
Full training, vehicle, specialist tools and IT equipment will be provided to suit the role.
Basic salary based on experience plus overtime and standby call out rate.
