Support is delivered within group settings or on a one-to-one basis, ensuring each individual receives the support that best suits their needs and preferences.
About the role
As a Team Leader, you will supervise and deploy staff within your allocated team, ensuring customers receive high-quality care, personal support, and assistance with daily living tasks and activities.
You will work closely with the Service Manager, Operations Manager, and colleagues to support customers in reaching their full potential, encouraging choice, participation, and motivation.
Key responsibilities include:

Line management of Support Workers within the service

Ensuring high standards of care and support, guided by Person-Centred Plans

Supporting the team to deliver a safe, consistent, and empowering environment

Maintaining accurate records and ensuring confidentiality

Contributing to service compliance with regulatory and legal frameworks

Promoting self-advocacy and empowerment for service users
Your working hours
37.5 hours per week.
You’ll need to be flexible to work across weekdays and weekends as part of a rota
Typical shifts may include:
- 7:30am - 3.30pm / 2.30pm 10.30pm
What helps you shine here

SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or working towards it

Experience in a care setting, particularly supporting people with disabilities

Flexibility to work within rostered hours

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Understanding of employment practices, Health & Safety legislation, and regulatory frameworks

Good IT skills, including Microsoft packages
