Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber and Gasfitter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, removing and reinstating repairing pipework. The role will also include locating leaks via plumbing inspection, thermal imaging and trace gas techniques. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plumbing and gas services, contributing to the comfort and safety of our clients. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in commercial and residential settings
- Install, inspect, and service gas lines and appliances following safety standards and regulations
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to assemble components accurately
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation or repair projects
- Perform routine inspections to identify issues and troubleshoot plumbing or gas system problems effectively
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety compliance measures
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport tools, materials, or equipment to various job sites as needed
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a licensed plumber and gasfitter with relevant regulatory bodies
- Proven experience working with plumbing systems, gas lines, welding techniques, and mechanical components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly processes
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to plumbing, gas fitting, welding, and construction sites
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving where applicable
