We are looking for a passionate driver to join our small team based in Enfield to deliver goods to our stores and wholesale customers. The role will include deliveries to stores and drivers mate for larger jobs. Our drivers also assist with store openings and closures clearing out stock, fixtures and fittings therefore we are looking for someone who is physically fit, positive attitude and happy to work occasional out of hours.
Skills
Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods on time and in a professional manner.
Strong time management and organizational skills to ensure timely deliveries.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading of goods and perform repetitive tasks.
Experience
Minimum 1 year 3.5T Van driving experience in the UK
Driving license Cat B
Clean license only
Minimum age 25 for insurance reasons
Previous working experience in a warehouse is desired, not essential
Hours
Standard hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, 40hrs per week.
Some store drops require a 6am start, this is paid by overtime rate. Routes with an early start could be up to 46hrs per week.
