Support the Lead Sound Guarantee and wider Sound team at IMG in working on all aspects of sound across various productions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of audio systems and processes at IMG.
Responsibilities include guaranteeing on live productions, as well as advising on workflows, and best practices, and undertaking project based work such as system design, installation and implementation, as well as being across system maintenance and upgrades.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Setup and guarantee live productions, ranging from Studio based shows at IMG, to various remote productions models
- Coordinate between multiple teams to ensure audio workflows follow best practices for both new and existing projects
- Be a point of escalation to our core technical teams for any sound issues or queries
- Ensure all Audio infrastructure is maintained and fully operational for client use
- Plan, build, configure and install new audio systems into IMG infrastructure
- Stay abreast of new and emerging technology and system upgrades, advising on how they can be implemented to support new and existing productions
- Document workflows, both in Excel workbooks and HLD’s as required
- Take ownership of project work, from sourcing quotes, to generating BOM’s, and liaising with stakeholders, through to project delivery

Knowledge and Experience
Essential:
- Extensive experience in guaranteeing sound for live productions. (previous experience in Outside Broadcast would be advantageous)
- Experience in remote production, flyaway
- Proficiency in intercom setup and operation
- Ability to setup Sound desks for productions
- Knowledge and experience in working with AOIP, (2110-30/ aes67/ Ravenna, NMOS, Dante systems)
- Setup and operation of Sip codecs, and Voip
- Working knowledge of: Lawo mixing desks, Calrec mixing consoles, Yamaha desks, Riedel talkback systems, RTS intercom, Unity connect, Unity Intercom, BNCS routing, Avid ProTools, UHF talkback, and Wireless mics and IEM’s,
- Knowledge and understanding of basic networking as it relates to sound
- Familiarity with traditional audio formats (AES3, MADI etc…)
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Direct out Prodigy MX/ MP
- Knowledge of Lawo Home, UHD Core, XCS, MKIII surfaces
- Knowledge / experience with Bitfocus Companion
- Knowledge of Netgear AVline switches
Working Conditions
- This is a permanent position
- Based on site at Stockley Park, Uxbridge
- This role may require you to work weekends from time to time, and due to the nature of the business, you may be required to work early morning, late evenings and Bank Holidays, to cover productions working to different time zones
