Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders for food and beverages, ensuring timely delivery and presentation
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen duties as needed, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, specials, and food safety protocols to serve confidently
- Manage cash register transactions with basic math skills, ensuring accuracy in billing
- Support the team during busy periods by coordinating tasks efficiently and managing time effectively
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper handling procedures and hygiene practices
- Provide guest services that exceed expectations, resolving issues promptly with a positive attitude
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with serving techniques, food safety regulations, and basic kitchen operations is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Experience with food preparation or culinary work is a plus, demonstrating versatility in the role
- Excellent communication skills to engage with guests and team members effectively
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
