Duties
- Prepare a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages in accordance with company standards.
- Serve food and drinks to customers in a courteous and timely manner.
- Take customer orders accurately and process payments efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of the counter, seating area, and workstations throughout the shift.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Provide friendly and attentive service to enhance the customer experience.
- Restock supplies and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly.
- Follow food safety protocols at all times to uphold hygiene standards.
- Manage multiple tables or orders during busy periods with effective time management.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a barista or waitress is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality.
- Ability to serve customers efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanour.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods.
- Excellent organisational skills to keep work areas tidy and stock levels maintained.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine interest in delivering outstanding customer service.
