We’re looking for a Part-Time Commis chef who is enthusiastic, hard-working, a real team player, has ambition to develop and used to fast paced service. You will have prior experience in a commercial kitchen ideally in multiple sections. The Bandstand has a very strong reputation serving a mix of contemporary Scottish fayre, pub favourites and seasonal specials. The sea-view restaurant has over 50 covers with an additional 40 in the bar and 40 in the beer garden. The Bandstand Hotel has nine rooms with a maximum occupancy of 16 guests.
During high season we regularly serve up over 150 covers per day. You’ll receive a competitive salary, a share of tips and meal discounts for you and your immediate family. We offer flexible seasonal hours and will try to accommodate individual commitments such as travel, child care etc.
