Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious MEWP (Mobile Elevating Work Platform) Access Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various types of MEWPs to facilitate work at height in a range of environments. This role is essential for ensuring that our projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
· Operate a variety of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) safely and effectively in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
· Conduct pre-use inspections of MEWPs and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
· Collaborate with team members to determine the best method for carrying out tasks at height.
· Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company procedures for working at height.
· Maintain clear communication with ground staff and other site operatives to ensure safety and efficiency during operations.
· Provide support and assistance to other trades and colleagues while on site.
· Keep work areas clean and organised, adhering to environmental and safety guidelines.
· Complete necessary paperwork and documentation related to MEWP operations.
· Participate in training sessions and safety briefings as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Valid MEWP operator certification (e.g., IPAF).
· Prior experience operating MEWPs in a construction or industrial environment.
· Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to working at height.
· Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks as required.
· Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends if necessary.

Pay: £15.00-£19.00 per hour
