We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Farm Shop Assistants to join our team and help create a welcoming shopping experience for every visitor.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with high-quality local produce, artisan products, and seasonal goods while being part of an exciting new venture from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming environment for all visitors.
- Assist customers with purchases, product information, and recommendations.
- Operate tills and process transactions accurately.
- Replenish stock and maintain attractive product displays throughout the shop.
- Help receive deliveries and ensure products are correctly stored and rotated.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organisation.
- Support the deli counter and wider farm shop team during busy periods when required.
- Promote local products and help showcase the best of what the region has to offer.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Enjoys working with people and delivering excellent customer service.
- Has an interest in food, farming, and local produce.
- Has previous retail, hospitality, or customer-facing experience (preferred but not essential).
- Is friendly, approachable, and reliable.
- Has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a team.
- Takes pride in maintaining high standards and attention to detail.
- Is flexible and willing to work weekends, holidays, and busy seasonal periods.
