Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join our finance team. In this vital role, you will support the processing of company expenses, ensure accurate data entry, and maintain smooth financial operations. Your enthusiasm for accounting processes and ability to work efficiently with various accounting software will help keep our accounts payable functions running seamlessly. Key tasks:
· Posting invoices and credit notes and ensuring they are coded correctly in the internal system
· Maintain relationships with all suppliers following up on all queries to ensure that outstanding issues are kept to minimum
· Preparing supplier statement reconciliations
· Providing payment confirmations / remittances to suppliers on a timely basis
· Maintain supplier accounts and create new suppliers
· Respond to queries both internal and external in a timely manner
· Ensuring that all accounts payable activities comply with relevant financial policies and procedures
· Provide support to the line manager and wider team to improve process and efficiencies
· Credit card statement, PayPal purchase, Debit Card purchase and Employee Expense claim processing
· Other ad hoc finance related tasks as required
Skills & Experience Required
· Excellent IT and communication skills
· AAT Level 3 minimum requirement

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver to deadlines
· Well organised and able to prioritise
· Ability to establish and maintain good business relationships, internally and externally

Pay: £25,420.00-£32,000.00 per year
