Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and other refreshments, while ensuring a high standard of customer service in a face paced busy environment. Your role will involve working in a fast-paced environment where you will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
Duties
- Prepare and serve high-quality beverages according to standard recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering queries.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Participate in training sessions to improve product knowledge and customer service skills.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy setting.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly disposition to provide exceptional customer service.
- A willingness to learn about coffee preparation techniques and beverage recipes.

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
