Summary
We are seeking a passionate Swimming Teacher to join our team at Mylnhurst Swim School. In this role, you will be responsible for teaching swimming techniques to children of various skill levels, ensuring a fun and safe learning environment. Your contributions will help instill confidence in our young swimmers while promoting water safety.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging swim lesson plans tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
- Instruct students in proper swimming techniques and water safety practices.
- Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
- Ensure a safe and positive environment for all participants during lessons.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Assist in organizing swim-related events or activities during holiday camps.
Requirements
- Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching swimming is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children and parents.
- A passion for teaching and promoting water safety among young learners.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Relevant certifications in swimming instruction or lifeguarding are a plus.
