Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, optimise processes, and ensure efficient management of logistics activities on our PM Shift (14:00 to 22:00). The successful candidate will lead a team, coordinate shipping and receiving tasks, and utilise various warehouse management systems to streamline operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional with strong supervisory skills and a solid understanding of supply chain management to contribute to organisational success.
The candidate will work with other Supervisors in achieving and exceeding client SLAs and site KPIs. Reporting to an Area Manager and having responsibility alongside other Supervisors for the day to day running of an Area within the warehouse.
Job Responsibilities
· To plan the day according to the volume and make adjustments as and when needed
· Assist in delivering Operational performance in your area & through your team
· Monitor employee performance and productivity (KPI) and give feedback as and when required
· To follow health & safety rules and encourage people to do the same
· To complete weekly H&S inspection accurately
· Report near miss, incidents/accidents
· Amendments on orders by account manager request (unpick, hold, cancel)
· Conduct team briefs and advise allocation of people for the start of the day
· Lead and develop team leaders, warehouse operatives to achieve targets
· Ensure the welfare of your team by conducting Returns to works
· Ensure adherence to SOP’s
· Ensure correct process handling based on customer requirements
· Continuously review and suggest improvements in processes
· End of shift reporting to show progress and outputs
· Support & assistance in other areas of the warehouse as required
· Investigating incorrect picked/shipped orders
· Creating scanner and JDA log in
· Engaging in the company’s efforts to reduce waste and our impact on the environment

Key Skills
- Proven previous supervising experience within a warehouse or logistics environment
- Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics and management systems
- Ability to manage 3PL providers effectively and coordinate complex logistics workflows
- Demonstrated ability in process improvement initiatives and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills to lead teams and liaise with external partners effectively
Pay: £29,757.00-£30,732.00 per year
