Cambridge Regional College have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer in English to join our Service Industries, Business and Travel department in Cambridge. You will join us on a part time (22.5), full year basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary of between £18,037 - £26,551 per annum, equivalent to a full-time salary of £29,662 - £43,662 per annum, plus staff benefits.

About the role:
We are seeking to appoint an experienced, well-qualified, enthusiastic and flexible lecturer to deliver GCSE English to learners within the Construction department with varying levels of ability and confidence.
This is a full-time post, based mainly at our Cambridge Campus, though there may be a requirement to travel to our Huntingdon Campus.
This opportunity would suit experienced lecturers, though applications are welcomed from graduates, with the opportunity to complete teacher training as part of the role.
You will provide your students with high quality teaching and access to learning. It is expected that the post holder will contribute to course design, development of programmes and the expansion of the area/department generally.
This teaching role and course is eligible for levelling up premium payments you could qualify to receive an extra payment of up to £6,000 per year, after tax. This payment is separate from teachers’ pay.
You can claim your payment if you are in your first 5 years of teaching in FE, teach at least 2.5 hours per week and meet the full eligibility criteria.
