Job Title: Part-Time Night Administrator
Hours: 27 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours to cover holidays, sickness, bank holidays, or business needs.

We are a £30m family owned and managed wholesale food distribution business based in the Longridge area of Preston supplying around 1,000 customers each day across a range of 3,000 products. Our operation is fast-paced and high-volume, where accuracy and attention to deal is key to our success.
Working Pattern: This role will be based on one of the following fixed night shift patterns. The role includes working bank holidays where they fall within the agreed shift pattern:
· Shift 1: Sunday to Tuesday, 7:30pm to 5:30am
· Shift 2: Thursday to Saturday, 7:30pm to 5:30am

Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable and organised Part-Time Night Administrator to support the smooth running of night-time operations. The successful candidate will provide accurate administrative support, maintain clear records, communicate effectively with colleagues, and help ensure that overnight tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
· Carry out general administrative duties during the night shift, including data entry, record keeping, filing, and updating internal systems.
· Monitor emails, messages, and internal communications, escalating urgent matters where required.
· Prepare, update, and check reports, logs, spreadsheets, and other documentation accurately.
· Support the day team by ensuring information is complete, organised, and ready for handover.
· Handle telephone or customer queries where required in a professional and helpful manner.
· Liaise with colleagues, customers and drivers’ customers as needed to support operational requirements.
· Follow company procedures, including confidentiality, health and safety, and data protection requirements.
· Identify and report any issues, discrepancies, or operational concerns promptly.
· Maintain a tidy and organised working environment.
· Assist with additional administrative tasks as reasonably required by management.
Skills and Experience
· Previous administration, office, customer service experience is desirable.
· Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately during night hours.
· Confident using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and internal systems.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Good organisational and time management skills.
· Ability to work independently and use initiative.
· Reliable, punctual, and able to follow agreed processes.
· Comfortable working night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays where required.

Additional Hours
There may be opportunities for additional hours to cover staff holidays, sickness, training, bank holidays, or busy periods. Flexibility to support these requirements would be beneficial.
Pay: From £13.71 per hour
