We're recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 (CE) Driver for a well-established wholesale distribution business based in Newry.

This role offers a 45-hour guaranteed contract with typical start times between 5:00am and 6:00am, allowing you to finish your day and enjoy your evenings.

The Role
As a Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for delivering goods safely and professionally to customers across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
Your duties will include:
- Completing deliveries in line with planned routes and schedules
- Loading and unloading pallets when required
- Checking loads and delivery paperwork before departure
- Obtaining proof of delivery and customer signatures
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
- Reporting defects or issues promptly
- Maintaining high standards of vehicle care and presentation
- Delivering excellent customer service at every stop
- Ensuring compliance with all CPC, tachograph, and driver hours regulations

- A valid Category CE (Class 1) Licence
- At least 1 year's Class 1 driving experience
- A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
