About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and resilient Residential Support Worker to join our children’s home. You will provide high-quality, child-centred care and support children to achieve positive outcomes in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children at all times
- Provide high-quality, child-centred care in line with care plans
- Support children with daily routines, education, and independence skills
- Build positive and trusting relationships
- Manage behaviour using trauma-informed approaches
- Maintain accurate and timely records using Clear Care
- Work collaboratively with professionals and families
Essential Requirements
- 1 years' experience working within Children's home or a similar setting.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding
- Be willing to work towards a recognised qualification
- Ability to manage challenging behaviour positively
- Good communication and IT skills Flexibility for shifts (including sleep-ins
Desirable
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
- Experience with Clear Care
