We're looking for a Static Mechanical Engineer to join our team, delivering high-quality maintenance services on a single site. You'll play a key role in ensuring buildings remain safe, compliant and operating efficiently while providing excellent service to our client.
Role Responsibilities:
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on plumbing, ventilation (AHUs, extract/intake), heating and cooling systems (FCUs, thermal wheels), and water assets (booster sets, calorifiers, water heaters)
Identify and report defects, ensuring all documentation, inspection reports and remedial logs are completed accurately and on time
Respond to client queries and deliver a high standard of customer service at all times
Work safely in line with Health & Safety regulations, Permit to Work and safe systems of work, including tasks at height
Build positive working relationships with clients and colleagues, contributing to a collaborative team environment
What we're looking for:
Experience working in maintenance or facilities management environments
Relevant mechanical qualifications (City & Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent)
Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices
Comfortable using IT systems and mobile devices for reporting and workflows
Strong communication skills with a proactive, can-do attitude and ability to work under pressure
Willingness and ability to obtain MET Police SC Clearance (can take up to 7-10 months)
